Can I walk to Cheddar Gorge from the hotel?
Yes. Cheddar Gorge is just a short walk from The Bath Arms, making it easy to visit the caves, cliff-top walks, shops and cafés without needing a car. Staying with us also means you can avoid the daily parking charges in the Gorge, leaving you with more to spend on a coffee, drink or meal while exploring the area.
Is there free parking?
Yes. Guests staying overnight can use our on-site parking at no extra charge. The Bath Arms is ideally located for short visits, walking or cycling holidays and exploring Cheddar Gorge, which is just a short stroll away. You can enjoy all the benefits of staying close to the Gorge while remaining away from its busiest tourist areas.
Is The Bath Arms easy to reach from the M5?
Yes. The Bath Arms is conveniently located for travellers, around 20 minutes from Junction 22 when approaching from the south or roughly 30 minutes from Junction 21 when arriving from the north. Its central location makes it an excellent base for discovering Cheddar, the Mendip Hills and the surrounding Somerset countryside while still being easy to reach from the motorway. Why are the rooms at The Bath Arms adults-only?
Our six boutique bedrooms are reserved for guests aged 18 and over, creating a calm and peaceful environment for couples, weekend getaways, walking holidays and guests seeking a quiet Somerset escape.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. A freshly prepared breakfast is included with every overnight stay, so you can start the day with a delicious meal before exploring Cheddar Gorge, the Mendip Hills or nearby towns. Breakfast is served each day from 8am–10am.
Are dogs allowed in the rooms?
Our bedrooms are not dog-friendly, so we cannot accommodate dogs overnight. However, well-behaved dogs are welcome in the pub and outdoor areas.
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 11am. If you need to arrive earlier or later, please contact us in advance.
Do you have free Wi-Fi?
Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and in all rooms for guests to use.
